Thanks Josh. I've been paying for a unpopulated server for a couple years now. I know a few people that want me to do a Bad Company-2 server, like our old friend Darklord.
I'm thinking I may do it for a couple months to see. About same price as the CS server.

Alright, well what your problem is when you put the picture over the blue there are slight discoloration of the blue around the image. If it is shaded even 1 point off of blue 255 it will show up in game. It takes a lot of attention to detail to make a transparent spray. What you need to do is go completely around the image, and make sure every single blue pixel is exactly 0,0,255

Hrmm, still doing it. I get the feeling that HLtagconverter might be the culprit here, because it's all right in my source jpg, as far as I can tell.

Save it as a bitmap, not jpeg.
Check for layers, if there are any, flatten the image.
